The Kobe 6 Protro pays homage to Kobe Bryant's passion for women's basketball. Originally released in 2011, the Kobe 6's lightweight, low-top design kept up with Kobe's demanding style of play. With a lower profile, sleek design and high-speed look, they feature a large, flexible Air Zoom unit, reactive Cushlon foam to keep you cool throughout all four quarters, and optimised traction for improved court feel.

UPPER

The layering of the upper has been simplified and the iconic reptile skin print has been retained.

OUTSOLE

The reduced traction pattern provides ground contact feel and reduces weight.

MIDSOLE

The Air Zoom Turbo unit provides soft, reactive cushioning under the forefoot. It is flexible and activates from multiple angles. In addition, Cushlon foam offers softness underfoot to accommodate transitions from heel to toe.

My recommendation for such limited releases would be not to have the sneakers on display and to have a clear system upon entering the store to queue up and pick them up. People rushed in like crazy for the sneakers and grabbed whichever one regardless of the size. I would have preferred something more organized.
