The Air Jordan 3 ‘Pure Money’ was born as part of a special release in 2007, as part of a duo that also included the AJ3 ‘Black Cat’. The name ‘Pure Money’ refers not only to the pristine white colour of the design, but also to the nickname Michael Jordan was given for his unerringly accurate shooting. The concept revolves around purity, luxury and sobriety, moving away from flashy colours to focus on a clean and sophisticated aesthetic.
In 2025, this model returns as a retro reissue, retaining key elements of the original design, including the secret ‘Pure $’ inscription on the inside of the heel tab.
