The LeBron 23 Elite "Good Intentions" are inspired by one of the most decisive and controversial moments of LeBron James' career: the 2010 televised announcement known as The Decision, where he announced he would leave the Cleveland Cavaliers to join the Miami Heat.

The name "Good Intentions" refers to the fact that, although that decision was heavily criticised at the time, LeBron's intention was to grow competitively and fight for championships. Over time, that move ended up consolidating his legacy by winning titles and redefining his career.
