Nike Ja 3 "Uncle Phil" Basketball Shoes

The Nike Ja 3 “Uncle Phil” is probably the most personal and emotional version in the entire Ja 3 line. While other colourways talk about dinosaurs, lights or pure spectacle, this edition looks towards something much more important for Ja Morant: family. 

The name “Uncle Phil” is inspired by Ja’s uncle, one of the people who has been by his side the most since he was a child, accompanying him on fishing trips, through tough times and all those memories that build a real relationship. It’s no coincidence that Nike chose that name. The shoe speaks of that silent support that doesn’t make the highlights, but makes it possible for someone to reach their dreams.

Nike has worked with Ja to improve his game with the most flexible exclusive Ja shoes to date. The Ja 3, lightweight and durable, feature a revolutionary design thanks to the full-length Hybrid ZoomX foam. As Ja says: "It’s crazy how responsive the ZoomX foam is. It’s my fuel to fly high". We predict defenders will have nightmares.

When Ja met with Nike’s designers, he made it clear: "Don’t be afraid. Go all out". The result? The vertical Swoosh logo and scratch marks make this model a true eye-catcher.
