This edition returns ten years later to pay tribute to those Kobe 11 “Fade to Black” that Kobe wore in his unforgettable 60-point game, the last of an unrepeatable career.

The completely black upper reflects the sobriety and elegance of Kobe's final stage, while the golden details break the darkness to remind us of everything he left behind: titles, records, sacrifice, and twenty years defining an era. On the heel appears the date 4.13.16, the day of his last game, and other small nods recall his recovery from the Achilles tendon injury and his twenty seasons in the NBA.

The Engineered Mesh upper maintains the lightweight and minimalist essence of the original Kobe 11, but updated with a firmer and more stable structure. OUTSOLE

The outsole maintains a low-profile multidirectional traction pattern, designed to provide grip during aggressive movements, sharp stops, and changes of pace. The rubber extends especially in the forefoot to enhance explosiveness and control in quick actions.

MIDSOLE

The Protro version replaces the original cushioning with a more modern and responsive combination. It incorporates ReactX foam along with an Air Zoom unit in the heel, achieving a softer step, more energy return, and a quicker response without losing the close-to-the-court feel so characteristic of the Kobe line.
